Lee Groberg
Lee B. Groberg (born 1951) is a documentary filmmaker and Latter-day Saint. Many of his films focus on Latter-day Saint history, while others focus on Utah history or the Olympics. Groberg was born and raised in Farr West, Utah. His first films were industrial films made for such organizations as Nu Skin. His first documentary was ''Winter: the St. Paul/Sapporo connection''. In 1991 he made ''American Gunmaker: The John M. Browning Story''. Many of Groberg's films have had T. C. Christensen as the cinematographer. Later, Mark Goodman became the main cinematographer working with Groberg. Groberg also made a documentary about the Roots of Knowledge stained glass installation at Utah Valley University. Farr West, Utah
Farr West is a city on the northern edge of Weber County, Utah. The population was 7,691 at the 2020 census, up from 5,928 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Ogden–Clearfield metropolitan area. As of 2022, the mayor is Ken Phippen. Geography According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 5.8 square miles (15.1 km2), all land. ''Roots of Knowledge'' is a permanent stained glass display completed in 2016 at Utah Valley University (UVU) in Orem, Utah, United States. The creation of the exhibit was designed and overseen by stained glass artists Tom Holdman and Cameron Oscarson. It took over 12 years and cost US$4.5 million to complete. Description The Roots of Knowledge is a permanent stained glass exhibit in the Ira A. and Mary Lou Fulton Library at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah in the United States. It is long, about tall, and comprising 80 separate panes. Each of the panels was handcrafted from over 43,000 pieces of glass depicting part of the progress of human knowledge during recorded history.
