Le Môle
Le Môle () is a mountain of the Chablais Alps in the Haute-Savoie department of France which dominates the area around the town of Bonneville. The communes of Ayze, La Tour, Saint-Jean-de-Tholome, Marignier, Saint-Jeoire-en-Faucigny, Viuz-en-Sallaz, Peillonnex, and Faucigny encircle it. It rises to 1,863 metres and affords an excellent 360-degree view of the surrounding region. Though a small mountain by Alpine standards, it is of great geographic importance as it divides the vallée de l' Arve to the south and the west from the vallée du Giffre to the north and southeast, and dominates the southern entrance to the Geneva basin. Chablais Alps
The Chablais Alps (, ) are a mountain range in the Western Alps. They are situated between Lake Geneva and the Mont Blanc Massif. The Col des Montets separates them from the Mont Blanc Massif in the south, and the Rhône valley separates them from the Bernese Alps in the east. The Chablais Alps are composed of two distinct parts separated by the Val d'Illiez: the Dents du Midi massif on the south which contains the highest peaks, and the alpine foothills on the north. Le Grammont
Le Grammont () is a mountain in the Chablais Alps, near Le Bouveret in Valais. At above sea level, it is one of the highest peaks overlooking Lake Geneva. Various trails lead to the summit, mostly from the southern side. On the way to the summit, there is a mountain lake, the Lac de Taney. The Tauredunum event of AD 563 is thought to have occurred on the slopes of Le Grammont, named for a Roman-era fortress situated close to the point where the Rhône flows into Lake Geneva. During the Second World War, there is a recorded incident of a Lancaster of the Royal Air Force getting shot down by the Swiss anti-aircraft gunners and crashing into the mountain. The pilot of the aircraft was Horace Badge and all of the crew were lost.
