Dance In Uzbekistan
There are three schools of dance in Uzbekistan: Khorezm, Fergana, and Bukhara. Each one has its peculiarities and specific features. Khorezm dance Khorezm dance is known for its fiery nature. Komiljon Otaniyozov (Uzbek Cyrillic: Комилжон Отаниёзов, Russian: Камилджан Атаниязов; 20 July 1917 — 5 November 1975) was an Uzbek instrumentalist, singer, songwriter and music composer. He is the People's artist of Uzbekistan. He has been an influential figure in Uzbek cultural life for almost five decades. Much of his most celebrated work dates from the 1930s and 1970s. Khiva
Khiva ( uz-Latn-Cyrl, Xiva, Хива, ; other names) is a district-level city of approximately 93,000 people in Khorazm Region, Uzbekistan. According to archaeological data, the city was established around 2,500 years ago. In 1997, Khiva celebrated its 2500th anniversary. A folk dance is a dance that reflects the life of the people of a certain country or region. Not all ethnic dances are folk dances. Khorazm Region
Khorazm Region, also known as the Khorezm or Xorazm Region, () is a viloyat (region) of Uzbekistan located in the northwest of the country in the lower reaches of the Amu Darya River.
