Law, Respect, Expertise (, PRO) is a right-wing populist political party in the Czech Republic. History The party was founded in June 2022 by figures linked to Charter 2022, an initiative opposing COVID-19 restrictions and vaccinations. Lawyer Jindřich Rajchl, a former member of the Tricolour Citizens' Movement, became its first leader. The party largely focused on energy policy during the press conferences held to launch the party. In July 2022, the party announced it would nominate seven candidates for the 2022 Czech Senate election, including Hana Zelená and Ivan Noveský. The party gained some media attention during August 2022 when Rajchl appeared in a Sanep poll for preferred Prime Minister, finishing fourth with 7.9%. On 3 September 2022, Rajchl and other prominent members of the party appeared at an anti-government demonstration on Wenceslas Square. Jindřich Rajchl
Jindřich Rajchl (born 27 September 1976) is a Czech political activist, lawyer and former football ambassador. He gained a public profile as a leader of demonstrations against measures to control the COVID-19 pandemic in the Czech Republic, and subsequently also against the government of Petr Fiala. He is widely considered to be a participant in the spread of misinformation in the Czech Republic. Early life and career Rajchl graduated from the Faculty of Law of Charles University in Prague. He was brought into football by František Chvalovský, executive director of the Czech club FK Chmel Blšany (2002-2005). Rajchl was associated with FK Dukla Prague, then became vice-chairman of the Football Association of the Czech Republic (FAČR). 2024 Czech Regional Elections
2024 Czech regional elections will be held on 20 and 21 September 2024 to elect all 675 members of all 13 Czech regional councils. The regional elections are held together with the first round of the 2024 Czech Senate election. Voting system Elections are held in each region to elect its regional council, which is composed of 45 to 65 regional councilors, whom will elect the governor of the region. Elections are held using open list proportional representation method, with 5% threshold for both parties and coalitions in each region. The minimal age for both voting and candidacy is 18 years.
