Laurențiu Rus
Laurențiu Daniel Rus (born 7 May 1985) is a former Romanian professional footballer, currently assistant coach at Liga I club CFR Cluj. He was a versatile player, being able to play as a right winger, a midfielder or a right back. Club career In 2004 he moved to Liga II club Liberty Oradea. For the 2006–07 season, Rus was loaned to Hungarian first league club Sopron and for the second part of the 2007–08 season he was loaned to Petrolul Ploiești. Dinamo București In the summer of 2009, after impressing in the Romanian second league with Liberty Oradea, Rus moved to Liga I club Dinamo București. After putting in some solid displays, he immediately established himself in the starting eleven for the 2011–12 season. For the 2013–14 Liga I campaign, Rus became captain of Dinamo București. Liga I (; ''First League''), also spelled as Liga 1 and officially known as SuperLiga for sponsorship reasons, is a professional association football league in Romania and the highest level of the Romanian football league system. Contested by 16 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation from and to Liga II. The teams play 30 matches each in the regular season, before entering the championship play-offs or the relegation play-outs according to their position in the regular table. Liga I was established in 1909 and commenced play for the 1909–10 Divizia A, 1909–10 campaign, being currently 25th in UEFA's UEFA coefficient#League coefficient, league coefficient ranking list. Telekom Romania Mobile Communications S.A. is a mobile network company in Romania, wholly owned by OTE, which in turn is controlled by Deutsche Telekom, operating under Telekom brand. Telekom Romania Mobile had 3.5 million subscribers with 15% market share as of July 2021. The network operated together with Telekom Romania Communications (which traces its ancestry back to , later renamed Romtelecom) from 2014 until 2021 under the same brand Telekom. The 2011–12 Liga I was the ninety-fourth season of Liga I, the top-level association football, football league of Romania. It began on 22 July 2011 and ended on 19 May 2012. The defending champions are ASC Oțelul Galați, Oțelul Galați. Since Romania dropped from eighth to fourteenth place in the UEFA coefficient#League coefficient, UEFA association coefficient rankings at the end of the 2010–11 season, the league has lost its UEFA Europa League playoff round berth. Further, the champions will not directly be entered into the group stage of the UEFA Champions League any more, but rather have to begin in the third qualification round. Digi Sport is a Romanian sports television that was launched on 23 July 2009, available only on the Digi TV platform. The 2007–08 Liga I was the ninety season of Liga I, the top-level football league of Romania. Season began on 27 July 2007 and ended on 7 May 2008. CFR Cluj became champions, winning their first trophy and ending a 17-year-long reign of Bucharest based teams. CFR Cluj will play in the Champions League group stage, while Steaua București qualified for the Champions League third qualifying round. Rapid București, Dinamo București, Unirea Urziceni and Politehnica Știința Timișoara qualified for the UEFA Cup first round.
