Laura Siegemund
Laura Natalie Siegemund (born 4 March 1988) is a German professional tennis player. Siegemund reached her career-high doubles ranking of world No. 4 on 29 January 2024 and has won fourteen doubles titles on the WTA Tour. She is a three-time Grand Slam (tennis), Grand Slam champion, having won the 2020 US Open – Women's doubles, 2020 US Open in women's doubles with Vera Zvonareva, as well as the 2016 US Open – Mixed doubles, 2016 US Open and the 2024 French Open – Mixed doubles, 2024 French Open in mixed doubles, partnering Mate Pavić and Édouard Roger-Vasselin respectively. Alongside her major titles, she won the 2023 WTA Finals – Doubles, 2023 WTA Finals and the 2022 Miami Open – Women's doubles, 2022 Miami Open in doubles. 2023 Wimbledon Championships – Women's Doubles
Hsieh Su-wei and Barbora Strýcová defeated Storm Hunter and Elise Mertens in the final, 7–5, 6–4 to win the women's doubles tennis title at the 2023 Wimbledon Championships. It was Hsieh's fourth Wimbledon women's doubles title and Strýcová's second, with the pair having teamed up previously to win the title in 2019. Laura Siegemund and Édouard Roger-Vasselin defeated Desirae Krawczyk and Neal Skupski in the final, 6–4, 7–5 to win the mixed doubles tennis title at the 2024 French Open. It was the second major mixed doubles title for Siegemund and the first for Roger-Vasselin. Roger-Vasselin became the first Frenchman to win the mixed doubles event since Fabrice Santoro in 2005. Hsieh Su-wei and Jan Zieliński defeated Desirae Krawczyk and Neal Skupski in the final, 6–7(5–7), 6–4, 1–9to win the mixed doubles tennis title at the 2024 Australian Open. They saved a championship point en route to Hsieh's seventh major title (and her first on hardcourts), and Zieliński's first. Zieliński became the first Polish champion and finalist at the event.
