Las Brisas Observatory
Las Brisas Observatory is an astronomical observatory located 11 miles west of Pikes Peak, Colorado (USA) on Las Brisas ranch. It was built in 1979 and is owned by Paul Signorelli. Pikes Peak
Pikes Peak is the List of mountain ranges of Colorado#Mountain ranges, highest summit of the southern Front Range of the Rocky Mountains in North America. The Ultra-prominent peak, ultra-prominent fourteener is located in Pike National Forest, west of downtown Colorado Springs, Colorado. The town of Manitou Springs, Colorado, Manitou Springs lies at its base. The mountain is named in honor of American explorer Zebulon Pike, even though he was unable to reach the summit. The summit is higher than any point in the United States east of its longitude.
