Lars-Åke Wilhelmsson (born 8 September 1958) is a Swedish fashion designer and drag artist. Mostly known for his performances as the character Babsan (), he was educated as a typographist and art director. Biography Wilhelmsson was a successful ballroom dancer in his youth. In 1979, he formed a group of drag artists called ''Surprise Sisters'' along with friends. During the 1980s, he was often hired as a male striptease dancer, mostly at the nightclub Bacchi Wapen in Stockholm. He has been awarded the Guldmasken award several times for his work as a designer due to his work with costumes for the musicals ''Rent'', '' Wizard of Oz'', '' Pippi Långstrump'', ''Stars'', '' Karlsson på taket'' and '' Grease''. Wilhelmsson presented the bingo show ''Söndagsbingo'' at TV4 in 2002. In 2007, he created the costumes for Nanne Grönvall in her role in the musical ''Sweet Charity''. Per Staffan Götestam (born 20 May 1952) is a Swedish actor, director, theatre chief, playwright and founder of Junibacken. As an actor, he is best known for his portrayal of Jonathan in 1977 '' The Brothers Lionheart''. In the 1980s, he turned his focus to producing and directing. Wild Kids
''Wild Kids'' is a Swedish reality show for children currently airing on TV4. The show aired for twelve seasons on Sveriges Television (SVT), between 2005 and 2019. Ola Lindholm was the host of the show for the first four seasons but was then replaced with Richard Olsson. The second season was filmed in late 2006 and aired in early 2007. The show took a one-year break before returning in 2009. Except for 2006, 2008 and 2011, the show has been aired every year since its inaugural season. Carolina Klüft took over the role as host in 2019. SVT then dropped off the rights for the show. ''AllsÃ¥ng pÃ¥ Skansen'' (''Sing-along at Skansen'') is a Sweden, Swedish show held at Skansen, Stockholm, every summer on Tuesdays between 8pm and 9pm. The audience is encouraged to sing-along, sing along with musical guest stars to well-known Swedish and international songs. The show started in 1935 on a small scale; about 50 people in the audience. Today, about 10,000–25,500 people come to each performance. Since 3 August 1979 the show has been broadcast by Sveriges Television. Initially the show had about 300,000 viewers. TV3 (''TV tre'') is a Swedish pay television channel owned by Viaplay Group. It was launched on 31 December 1987 by businessman Jan Stenbeck. The channel was initially broadcast across all of Scandinavia. In 1990, separate Danish and Norwegian feeds were launched. ZTV (Sweden)
ZTV was a Swedish television channel owned by Viasat (Nordic television service), Viasat. Launched in February 1991, as a daily afternoon show on TV3 (Sweden), TV3 and TV4 (Sweden), TV4, it became a channel of its own on Swedish cable networks in May 1992. Christer Lindarw (born 3 March 1953) is a Sweden, Swedish clothes designer, actor, drag queen entertainer, and the leader of drag group ''After Dark (drag act), After Dark''. After Dark (drag Act)
After Dark (1976–2018) was a Swedish drag act starring entertainer Christer Lindarw who eventually also began appearing intermittently out of drag and singing with his own voice. Show history The group was put together for a special Stockholm nightclub called After Dark Club immediately after Lindarw with Roger Jönsson had appeared in ''Wild Side Story'' at Alexandra's in January 1976 and also in February, with an added co-star . Its immediate appeal with Alexandra's clientele has been cited as instrumental to rapid and early success. Since that time, After Dark has been a major ingredient in Swedish LGBT culture. Barbro Karin Viola Westerlund Larsson (born 29October 1956), better known as Babben, is a Swedish actress and comedian.
