Laredo Heat
Laredo Heat Soccer Club is an American soccer team based in Laredo, Texas. The team competes in USL League Two, the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid, as a member of the Lone Star Division. The team plays its home games at the PEG Energy Stadium, where they have played since 2024. The team's colors are red, black and white. Founded in 2004, the team was a member of the USL Premier Development League from 2004 to 2015. The club took a hiatus for the 2016 and 2017 seasons. History 2004 Laredo Heat initially joined the USL Premier Development League in 2004 as an expansion franchise, playing a limited 'exploratory' schedule of eight exhibition games against selected opponents, but only managed two wins, both over the Lafayette Swamp Cats, 4–0 and 5–0, the latter of which featured a hat trick from striker Nelson Mata-Meza. Laredo ( ; ) is a city in the U.S. state of Texas and the county seat of Webb County, Texas, Webb County, on the north bank of the Rio Grande in South Texas, across from Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico. Lexton Moy
Lexton de la Cruz Moy (, born 24 January 1985) is an American-Filipino sportsperson and former Philippines international footballer. He played as a midfielder and last played for Lam Ieng that competed in the Campeonato da 1ª Divisão do Futebol in Macau. He also stints in the Hong Kong First Division League and the United Football League (Philippines). Football career College and amateur Moy started his college career at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He broke his leg his freshmen year taking a medical red-shirt. 2010 PDL Season
The 2010 USL Premier Development League season was the 16th season of the PDL. The regular season began on April 24, 2010, and ended on July 26. The league consisted of 67 teams across eight divisions. The playoffs began on Friday, July 30 and concluded with the PDL Championship Game on August 8. As in previous years, the PDL Championship Game was broadcast live on Fox Soccer Channel in the United States, with commentary by Kenn Tomasch and Jon Billings. The Portland Timbers U23's ended the season as national champions, beating Thunder Bay Chill 4–1 in the 2010 PDL Championship game.
