Langley Park–Cheverly Line
The Langley Park–Cheverly Line, designated Route F8, is a daily bus route operated by the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority between the Cheverly Metro station of the Orange Line of the Washington Metro and Takoma – Langley Crossroads Transit Center in Langley Park, Maryland. The line operates every 30–35 minutes during peak hours and every 60–65 minutes at all other times. F8 trips are roughly 54–60 minutes. Current route Route F8 operates on weekdays between 5:35 AM and 8:41 PM, every Saturday between 5:47 AM and 9:22 PM, and every Sundays between 9:55 AM and 7:00 PM. Route F8 operates out of Landover Division at all times. It originally operated out of Bladensburg until 1989. Ardwick Industrial Park Shuttle Line
The Ardwick Industrial Park Shuttle Line, designated Route F12, was a weekday-only bus route operated by the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority between the New Carrollton station and Cheverly station on the Silver Line (Washington Metro), Silver and Orange Line (WMATA), Orange Lines of the Washington Metro. The line operated every 35–37 minutes during peak hours and 60 minutes all other times, weekdays only. F12 trips were roughly 30 minutes. Background Route F12 operated weekdays only between New Carrollton station and Cheverly station. Route F12 got its buses out of Landover division. Prior to 1989, route F12 would get its buses out of Southern Avenue division. Maryland Route 500
Maryland Route 500 (MD 500) is a state highway in the U.S. state of Maryland. The highway starts at the District of Columbia boundary at Avondale. It is a continuation of Washington D.C.'s Michigan Avenue. As Queens Chapel Road, MD 500 continues north for to MD 410 (East-West Highway) in Hyattsville. MD 500 connects Washington with the Prince George's County cities of Mount Rainier and Hyattsville. The state highway also proximately connects those communities with a pair of subway stations ( West Hyattsville and Hyattsville Crossing) on the Green Line of the Washington Metro. Queens Chapel Road was originally constructed as MD 210 from Washington to Hyattsville in the 1910s. The Queens Chapel Road Line, designated Route R4, is a daily bus route operated by the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority between the Highview Apartment Complex in Hyattsville, Maryland and Brookland–CUA station of the Red Line (WMATA), Red Line of the Washington Metro. College Park Line
