Lance Zierlein
Lance Zierlein is a sports analyst and commentator. He has hosted sports talk shows on KILT 610, KBME 790, KGOW 1560 AM, and KFNC 97.5 FM in Houston, Texas Career Zierlein graduated from Lamar Consolidated High School in 1988. Following high school, he attended Tulane University. After college, Zierlein created "Pigskin Sports" which was a sports analysis company, and began to appear on radio stations around the country including in markets such as Houston, Baton Rouge and Miami. Zierlein was also a weekly football expert for the weekend show on Prime Sports Radio. He began his career working at 610 KILT on a weekend show called "Fast Break with Nate" along with his partner Nate Griffin. Shortly thereafter, he joined John Granato in 1997 to create "The Bench", which was the top-rated sports talk show in Houston for the better part of a decade. KGOW (1560 AM) is a Vietnamese language terrestrial full service radio station based in Houston, Texas, United States, owned by Gow Media, LLC. KGOW's programming schedule is leased to a third party group that utilizes the broadcast day to air Vietnamese focused programming for southwest Houston, Bellaire, and the areas in southwest Harris County where 1560's signal is strongest. Larry Zierlein
Larry Zierlein (born July 12, 1945) is a long-time American football coach at high school, college, and the National Football League (NFL). Biography Zierlein grew up in Lenora, Kansas. After spending two years in the Marines from 1966 to 1968, including a tour of duty in Vietnam in 1967, he attended Fort Hays State College. He played defensive end for Fort Hays State in 1969 before graduating in 1971. Coaching career Zierlein embarked on his coaching career as a graduate assistant and linebackers coach at his alma mater in 1970. After two years coaching at Fort Hays State, he spent the following six seasons (1972–1977) as a high school assistant in Texas.
