Lanardo Tyner (born August 2, 1975) is an American professional boxer. Professional career On December 5, 2009 Tyner lost to the Mexican Canelo Álvarez. All his losses have been quality, coming to Mike Arnaoutis, Lamont Peterson and Canelo Álvarez. Lanardo upset welterweight prospect Antwone "The Truth" Smith in the ninth by knockout. On January 1, 2011 Tyner announced to Chicago Boxing New's Richard Spilotro that he is willing and able to jump down a weight class and fight at the Junior welterweight division. Many ring insiders believe this move will suit Tyner, mainly due to the size difference he was facing at welterweight. On July 15, 2011, Tyner defeated the former WBA Jr welterweight champion Vivian Harris during Cynthia Tolaymat's CFC Promotions "Chicago Fight Night #2". Welterweight is a weight class in combat sports. Originally the term ''welterweight'' was used only in boxing, but other combat sports like muay Thai, taekwondo, and mixed martial arts also use it for their own weight division system to classify the opponents. Antonio DeMarco
Antonio de Marco Soto (born January 7, 1986), best known as Antonio "Tony" DeMarco, is a Mexican professional boxer. He held the WBC lightweight title from 2011 to 2012. DeMarco is a cousin of former world champion Humberto Soto. Professional career Lightweight DeMarco claimed an interim belt after he dominated José Alfaro for 10 rounds before a stoppage was called. Demarco won every round before dropping Alfaro three times in the 10th round. Demarco's unbeaten streak is 15-0-1 with 10 knockouts, including 12 consecutive wins, since losing a six-round, majority decision to Anthony Vasquez in February 2006. He lined himself up to face the monster-punching full WBC titlist, Edwin Valero. The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino was a resort located near the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada, United States. It now operates as Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. Jessie Vargas (born May 10, 1989) is a Mexican-American professional boxer. He held the WBO welterweight title in 2016. He also held the WBA (Regular) and IBO super lightweight titles in 2014. Pointe-Claire (, ) is a Quebec local municipality within the Urban agglomeration of Montreal on the Island of Montreal in Canada.
