Eyebrow ( 2016 population: ) is a village in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan within the Rural Municipality of Eyebrow No. 193 and Census Division No. 7. The community originated at the location that is now the abandoned community of Eskbank several kilometres to the south. Eyebrow is located at the intersection of Highway 367 and Highway 42; 84 km northwest of Moose Jaw, 154 km northwest of Regina and 196 km south of Saskatoon. History A post office was established in 1904 called Eyebrow Hill located just south in Sec.12, Twp.20, R.2, W3 of the Dominion Land Survey. Eyebrow Hill was renamed Eskbank in 1908. Caron, Saskatchewan
Caron is a hamlet in Saskatchewan, Canada, located on the south side of the Trans-Canada Highway, west of Moose Jaw along the course of Thunder Creek. Caron was originally a Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR) siding in 1882, named after Sir Adolphe Caron, then Canadian Minister for Militia and Defence. Although associated with the BCATP, RCAF Station Caron was located north-east of Caron. The former station is now the community of Caronport (the name "Caronport" combines "Caron" and "airport"). There is no trace of the former runways or taxiways and the airfield is closed to all traffic. Some of the buildings are now the property of the Briercrest Family of Schools. Mortlach () is a village in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan within the Rural Municipality of Wheatlands No. 163 and Census Division No. 7. The village is on the Trans Canada Highway about 40 km west of the City of Moose Jaw. Thunder Creek (one of the rivers that flows into Moose Jaw) passes the community to the north where it is joined by Sandy Creek. Parkbeg is a hamlet in Wheatlands Rural Municipality No. 163, Saskatchewan, Canada. The hamlet is located at the junction of Highway 1 and Highway 627 approximately 58 km directly west of the City of Moose Jaw on the Trans Canada Highway. Demographics Parkbeg, like so many other small communities throughout Saskatchewan, has struggled to maintain a sturdy population causing it to become a semi ghost town with only a few citizens. Eskbank is an unincorporated community in the Rural Municipality of Eyebrow No. 193, Saskatchewan, Canada. The community is located about south of Highway 42 on Range Road 20, approximately northwest of the City of Moose Jaw. It is located on the former Grand Trunk Pacific (Canadian National Railway) Central Butte Subdivision from Moose Jaw to Riverhurst. History Today nothing remains of Eskbank, only a historical plaque, placed at the site of the community in 2009. The post office of Eyebrow Hill was established June 1, 1904 in the home of John William Hudson, renamed "Eskbank" on June 1, 1908 after Eskbank, Scotland. The post office closed June 30, 1964.
