César Láinez
César Láinez Sanjuán (born 10 April 1977) is a Spanish retired professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper, and is the manager of CD Teruel. He played 69 La Liga games during six seasons, with Zaragoza and Villarreal. Club career A Real Zaragoza youth graduate, Zaragoza-born Láinez made his professional debut with its B-side, but struggled initially to find a first-team place. In January 1999 he served a six-month loan stint at Villarreal CF, playing three La Liga matches as the season ended in relegation. After his return to Zaragoza, Láinez had to wait until the 2001–02 campaign to become first-choice, but his team would again be relegated. He was instrumental in the Aragonese club's immediate promotion, and subsequently helped it finish in a comfortable 12th place, also conquering the Copa del Rey after an extra time win against Real Madrid. Diego Lainez Leyva (born 9 June 2000) is a Mexican professional footballer who plays as a winger for Liga MX club Tigres UANL and the Mexico national team. Diego Laynez, S.J. (1512 – 19 January 1565; first name sometimes translated James, Jacob; surname also spelled Laines, Lainez, Laínez) was a Spanish Jesuit priest and theologian, a New Christian (of converted Jewish descent), and the second Superior General of the Society of Jesus after the founder Ignatius of Loyola. He was born in Almazán and died in Rome. Early life Diego Laynez was born in Almazán in Castile. He graduated from the University of Alcalá, and then continued his studies in Paris, where he came under the influence of Ignatius of Loyola. Étienne Lainez
Étienne Lainez (or Lainé, Laînez) (23 May 1753 – 15 September 1822) was a French operatic tenor, and leading figure at the Paris Opera for over thirty years. In the course of his career there he created many tenor roles including Rodrigue in Sacchini's ''Chimène (opera), Chimène'', Énée in Piccinni's ''Didon (Piccinni), Didon'', Narcisse in Gluck's ''Echo et Narcisse'', and Licinius in Gaspare Spontini, Spontini's ''La vestale''. Lainez was born in 15th arrondissement of Paris, Vaugirard in Paris, and died in Paris as well. After his retirement from the stage, he taught lyric declamation at the Paris Conservatoire.
