Lagardère S.A. () is an international group with operations in over 40 countries. Based in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, the group was founded and created in 1992 by Jean-Luc Lagardère under the name Matra, Hachette & Lagardère. Headed by Arnaud Lagardère, it is focused around two main divisions: Lagardère Publishing and Lagardère Travel Retail. While its book and e-publishing division (Lagardère Publishing) includes the major imprint Hachette Livre, its Travel Retail (Lagardère Travel Retail) unit includes store retail, largely in airports and railway stations. Vivendi SE (stylized in all lowercase) is a French investment company headquartered in Paris. It currently wholly-owns Gameloft as well as a number of investments in several companies, primarily involved in content, entertainment, media, and telecommunications. RFM is a French radio station owned by Lagardère News, based at Paris and created in 1981. History The radio station RFM was created by Patrick Meyer and started broadcasting on 6 June 1981, then offering a musical program including mainly: Rock, World music and French music in stereo audio. Its first slogan was ''RFM, la radio couleur'' (RFM, the color radio), with a logo representing the 3 letters R F M in the form of green, yellow and pink. It was created by the DMM France agency led by Jean-François Minne.
