Ladies Beach, Ulcin
Ladies Beach (; ) is a beach in Ulcinj, Montenegro. It is one of many beaches in Montenegro's South Coast with a special liking amongst the visitors to the region, as well as the local residents. Ladies Beach is known for its curious waters, a mixture of sulfur from an underwater spring, radium and sea salts. Pine resin from the sea trees at Ladies Beach, wafts in the air above the beach. Locals have long believed that Ladies Beach and its sea caves offer curative powers for ailments, and specific help to women with fertility issues. Ulcinj
Ulcinj () is a town in the Coastal Montenegro, Coastal region of Montenegro and the capital of Ulcinj Municipality. It has an urban population of 11,488. As one of the oldest settlements in the Adriatic Sea, Adriatic coast, it was founded in 5th century BC. It was captured by the Roman Empire, Romans in 163 BC from the Illyrians. With the division of the Roman Empire, it was a part of the Byzantine Empire and Kingdom of Serbia (medieval), Serbian Kingdom in the Middle Ages until the Republic of Venice captured it in 1405. It was known as a base for piracy. In 1571, Ulcinj was conquered by the Ottoman Empire with the aid of North African corsairs after the Battle of Lepanto. The town gradually became a Muslim-majority settlement. Under the Ottomans, numerous hammams and mosques, and a clock tower were built. Velika Plaža (; ( Montenegrin Cyrillic: Велика Плажа), ;, lit. "Big Beach") is a beach in Ulcinj Municipality, Montenegro. Ada Bojana
Ada Bojana ( cnr-Cyrl, Ада Бојана, ; ) is an island in the Ulcinj, Ulcinj Municipality in Montenegro. The name ''Ada'' means "river island" in Montenegrin language, Montenegrin. The island is created by a river delta of the Buna (Adriatic Sea), Bojana River. It is located on the southernmost tip of Montenegro, with the Bojana River separating it from Pulaj and Velipojë in the Albanian territory. The island is of triangular shape, bordered from two sides by the Bojana River and by the Adriatic Sea from the southwest. It has an area of 4.8 square km. It is a popular Naturist resort, place for nude tourists. Although in the Mediterranean region, Ada's dominant climate is subtropical. Jaz Beach
Jaz ( sr-Cyrl, Јаз, ) is a beach in the Budva Municipality in Montenegro. It is located 2.5 km west of central Budva. It consists of two areas, one of which measures about 850 metres (or slightly under 1 km) and the other, formerly a nudist beach, stretches around 450 metres (0.45 km). It is unique in that it is a pebble beach; there is a campground along the main section of the beach as well, with an availability of 2,000 lots. While it is one of the longer beaches in Montenegro—and a popular spot for sunbathing, swimming, camping, etc.— Jaz has gained prominence in the years since an area was remodeled, and can now host major musical acts and performances. A concert stage (with connected backstage facilities) was built, along with better road access, and seating for over 40,000 spectators.
