Dead or Alive were an English Pop music, pop band who released seven studio albums from 1984 to 2000. The band formed in 1979 in Liverpool and found success in the mid-1980s, releasing seven singles that made the UK Top 40 and three albums in the UK Top 30. At the peak of their success, the line-up consisted of Pete Burns (vocals), Steve Coy (drums), Mike Percy (bass), and Tim Lever (keyboards), with the core pair of Burns and Coy writing and producing for the remainder of the band's career due to Percy and Lever exiting the group in 1989. Following Burns' death on October 23, 2016, the remaining members chose to disband Dead or Alive. Originally known under the acronym SNICOP, the organisation was established in 1922 and has 48 member companies. Indochine () is a French rock music, rock and New wave music, new wave band formed in Paris in 1981. They became very successful in the Francophonie, Francophone world, Europe and Latin America in the 1980s, with songs like "L'Aventurier" and "Canary Bay". Following the release of several critically acclaimed, but commercially unsuccessful, albums in the 1990s, the group regained success with the release of ''Paradize'' in 2002. Indochine has sold over 10 million albums and singles worldwide. It was released on 8 February 2013 in France, peaking at number one on both the French and Belgian Albums Charts, as well as being certified Platinum in France. The album was supported by the multi-leg Black City Tour. Production Most of the album was mixed by Shane Stoneback. Promotion The song "Kill Nico" was premiered during the "Paradize + 10" concerts that took place before the release of the album. The first single released from the album was "Memoria", on 15 November 2012. The second single from the album was " College Boy", released on 13 May 2013.
