The FFSA Academy (formerly known as La Filière, Volant Elf and Auto Sport Academy) was created in 1993 by Elf Aquitaine to promote French drivers at the highest level, in line with its marketing approach and its commitment to Renault in F1. It is located at: Technoparc des 24 Heures, Chemin aux Boeufs, 72100 Le Mans, France. History A variety of driving schools and motorsport talent searches operated across France throughout the 1970s and 1980s, and were all eventually merged to create the Auto Sport Academy in 1993. It was taken over in April 2001 by the FFSA (Fédération Française du Sport Automobile), becoming one of its subsidiaries. Its main objective is to train young drivers and promote the best to give them access to a professional career; 40 to 50 drivers are trained every year in its two main disciplines, competition karting (Formula Kart) and single-seater racing (Formula Campus Renault Elf). Evan Giltaire
Evan Giltaire (born 21 November 2006) is a French people, French racing driver who is set to compete in the 2025 Formula Regional European Championship with ART Grand Prix. He is the 2023 French F4 Championship, 2023 French F4 and 2025 Formula Regional Middle East Championship, 2025 Formula Regional Middle East champion. Career Karting Giltaire began competitively karting in 2018, where he came 7th in the French Championship in his class, and 11th in the Rotax Max Challenge, Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals. He had his breakout year in karting in 2022, where the Frenchman won the SKUSA SuperNationals XXV and the IAME Warriors Final in the X30 Senior classes. The 2020 Formula Renault Eurocup was a multi-event motor racing championship for open-wheel, formula racing cars held across Europe. The championship featured drivers competing in 1.8 litre Formula Renault single-seat race cars that conform to the technical regulations of Formula Regional. The 2020 season was the 30th and final season Eurocup Formula Renault organised by Renault Sport, as it merged with the Formula Regional European Championship for the 2021 season. Victor Martins (; born 16 June 2001) is a French racing driver, who competes in the FIA Formula 2 Championship for ART Grand Prix as part of the Williams Driver Academy. A former member of the Alpine Academy and a member of the Williams Driver Academy since 2025, he won the 2020 Formula Renault Eurocup and the 2022 FIA Formula 3 Championship, and was the 2023 recipient of the Anthoine Hubert Award by virtue of finishing as top rookie in Formula 2.
