LSH (hash Function)
LSH is a cryptographic hash function designed in 2014 by South Korea to provide integrity in general-purpose software environments such as Personal computer, PCs and smart devices. LSH is one of the cryptographic algorithms approved by the Korean Cryptographic Module Validation Program (KCMVP). And it is the national standard of South Korea (KS X 3262). Specification The overall structure of the hash function LSH is shown in the following figure. The hash function LSH has the wide-pipe Merkle-Damgård structure with one-zeros padding. The message hashing process of LSH consists of the following three stages. # ''Initialization'': #* One-zeros padding of a given bit string message. #* Conversion to 32-word array message blocks from the padded bit string message. #* Initialization of a chaining variable with the initialization vector. # ''Compression'': #* Updating of chaining variables by iteration of a compression function with message blocks. # ''Finalization'': #* Generati ...

Locality-sensitive Hashing
In computer science, locality-sensitive hashing (LSH) is a fuzzy hashing technique that hashes similar input items into the same "buckets" with high probability. (The number of buckets is much smaller than the universe of possible input items.) Since similar items end up in the same buckets, this technique can be used for data clustering and nearest neighbor search. It differs from conventional hashing techniques in that hash collisions are maximized, not minimized. Alternatively, the technique can be seen as a way to reduce the dimensionality of high-dimensional data; high-dimensional input items can be reduced to low-dimensional versions while preserving relative distances between items. Hashing-based approximate nearest-neighbor search algorithms generally use one of two main categories of hashing methods: either data-independent methods, such as locality-sensitive hashing (LSH); or data-dependent methods, such as locality-preserving hashing (LPH). Locality-preserving hashin ...

Hull Classification Symbol
The United States Navy, United States Coast Guard, and United States National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) use a hull classification symbol (sometimes called hull code or hull number) to identify their ships by type and by individual ship within a type. The system is analogous to the pennant number system that the Royal Navy and other European and Commonwealth of Nations, Commonwealth navies use. History United States Navy The U.S. Navy began to assign unique Naval Registry Identification Numbers to its ships in the 1890s. The system was a simple one in which each ship received a number which was appended to its ship type, fully spelled out, and added parenthetically after the ship's name when deemed necessary to avoid confusion between ships. Under this system, for example, the battleship USS Indiana (BB-1), ''Indiana'' was USS ''Indiana'' (Battleship No. 1), the cruiser USS Olympia (C-6), ''Olympia'' was USS ''Olympia'' (Cruiser No. 6), and so on. Legion Of Super-Heroes
The Legion of Super-Heroes is a superhero team appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. Created by writer Otto Binder and artist Al Plastino, the Legion is a group of superpowered beings living in the 30th and 31st centuries of the , and first appeared in ''Adventure Comics'' #247 (April 1958). Initially, the team was closely associated with the original Superboy (Kal-El), Superboy character (Superman when he was a teenager), and was portrayed as a group of time travelers. Later, the Legion's origin and back story were fleshed out, and the group was given its own monthly comic. Eventually, Superboy was removed from the team altogether and appeared only as an occasional guest star. The team has undergone two major reboot (fiction), reboots during its run. The Legion of Super-Heroes (1958 team), original version was replaced with a Legion of Super-Heroes (1994 team), new rebooted version following the events of the ''Zero Hour: Crisis in Time!'' storyline in 1994 a ...

Lysergic Acid Hydroxyethylamide
Lysergic acid hydroxyethylamide (LSH or LAH), also known as lysergic acid ''N''-(α-hydroxyethyl)amide, is an ergoamide and an ergoline. It is perhaps the main constituent of the parasitic fungus, '' Claviceps paspali''; and found in trace amounts in ''Claviceps purpurea''. ''C. paspali'' and ''C. purpurea'' are ergot-spreading fungi. ''Periglandula'', ''Clavicipitacepus'' fungi, are permanently symbiotically connected to an estimated 450species of ''Convolvulaceae'' and thus generate LAH in some of them (42 generate ergolines, by Eckart Eich's review). The most well-known ones are ''Ipomoea tricolor'' (“morning glory”), ''Turbina corymbosa'' (''coaxihuitl''), and '' Argyreia nervosa'' (Hawaiian baby woodrose). LAH is structurally similar to ergonovine, which is also known as lysergic acid hydroxymethylethylamide. The more well-known analog, lysergic acid amide (syn. ''ergine''), is more prominent in analytical results because LAH easily decomposes to ergine. Ergine is only ...
