Kåre Øistein Hansen (8 November 1927 – 6 May 2012) was a Norwegian politician for the Socialist Left Party. Kåre Kivijärvi (born 23 April 1938 in Hammerfest - 20 November 1991) was a Norwegian photographer known for his photojournalistic work in Northern Norway. Kivijärvi was born into a Kven family and always professed a connection to his ethnic heritage and to Finland. After working as a photographer's apprentice in ''Finnmark Dagblad'', he was in 1959 accepted at Folkwangschule für Gestaltung in Essen, Germany, where he studied with Otto Steinert. After having served in the Royal Norwegian Air Force as an aerial photographer, he accepted a position as staff photographer for ''Helsingin Sanomat''s weekly newsmagazine '' Viikkosanomat'', which brought him on assignment to Greenland, the Soviet Union, Afghanistan, India, and Nepal. Kåre Valebrokk
Kåre Valebrokk (17 December 1940 – 9 February 2013) was a Norwegian journalist and television executive. He was editor-in-chief and administrative director of TV 2 from October 1999 until June 2007, when he retired. He was the father of economist and editor Per Valebrokk. Valebrokk started his media career as a journalist in ''Morgenbladet'' from 1962 to 1968, and was later a journalist in ''Verdens Gang'' from 1979 to 1985. In 1985, Valebrokk was appointed editor-in-chief of the newspaper ''Dagens Næringsliv'', a position he held until he joined TV 2 in 1999. Kåre Rønnes (born 13 January 1938) is a Norwegian former football player and coach. He played all his career in Rosenborg BK, Trondheim. Biography Kåre Rønnes played for his hometown team Rosenborg 19 seasons in a row from 1956 to 1974, a record shared with Ola By Rise. (Roar Strand has also played 19 seasons for the club, but not in a row.) Rønnes played in all positions on the field, including goalkeeper, but mostly midfielder in the first part of his career, and defender in the later part. As young as 22 he became captain of the team. No accurate statistics exist on the number of matches Rønnes played, but it is estimated to 700. Kåre Olafsen
Kåre Adolf Olafsen (19 January 1920 – 17 March 1945) was a Norwegian resistance member who was executed during the occupation of Norway by Nazi Germany. He was born in Sørum, and lived in Østre Aker. He became involved in Milorg in 1941, during the occupation of Norway by Nazi Germany, and was responsible for transport and provisioning in the district. His last mission was ''Aksjon smør'', in which Milorg men stole foodstuffs from two warehouses, one in the street ''Tollbugata'' belonging to German forces, and one in the street ''Skippergata'' belonging to Arbeidstjenesten. The foodstuffs were distributed to Milorg men who hid in the forests surrounding Oslo. He was arrested by the Nazi authorities on 13 February 1945, during a crackdown which began when two Gestapo officers intercepted a resistance meeting in Storm Weinholdt's home. Kåre Nordstoga (born 18 December 1954) is a Norwegian organist. Nordstoga had his early studies under Harald Aune and Odd Jacob Unhammer in Notodden where he grew up.
