Kyushu Expressway
( Asian Highway Network ) is one of the Expressways of Japan from Kitakyūshū (and the bridge to Honshū) to west of Kagoshima linking with the Higashikyushu Expressway and the Ibusuki Skyline. It runs through the prefectures of Fukuoka Prefecture, Fukuoka, the eastern half of the Saga Prefecture, Saga, Kumamoto Prefecture, Kumamoto, Miyazaki Prefecture, Miyazaki (Ebino only) and the Kagoshima Prefecture, Kagoshima prefectures. The freeway runs entirely on the island of Kyūshū. The total length is 346.2 km. It does not cover Ōita, Ōita, Ōita or Nagasaki, Nagasaki, Nagasaki. Minami-Kyushu Expressway
is one of the Expressways of Japan from Yatsushiro to Kagoshima linking with the Kyushu Expressway. It runs through the southern half of Kumamoto prefecture, and the northern half of the Kagoshima prefecture. The total length is 140 km. Overview The first section of the expressway was opened to traffic in 1988. As of March 2007 the expressway incomplete in many areas. The next sections are scheduled to open in 2009 ( Tanoura Interchange to Ashikita Interchange). After this, Most of the incomplete areas will be built according to the New Direct Control System, whereby the burden for construction costs will be shared by the national and local governments and no tolls will be collected. Ibusuki
is a city located in Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan, founded on April 1, 1954. In March 1, 2012, the city had an estimated population of 43,931, with 19,119 households and a population density of 294.82 persons per km2. However the census of 2020 confirmed a population decline to 39,011 and by October 2022 there were only 17,537 households . The total area is and shares a border with Ei, a town to its north. Kitakyūshū
