Kyle Brindza
Kyle Brindza (born January 13, 1993) is a former American football placekicker. He played college football at Notre Dame. He signed as an undrafted free agent with the Detroit Lions in 2015 and was traded to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where he played for one season. Early life Brindza was born with a club right foot, forcing him to undergo surgeries throughout his childhood. Despite his birth defect, he was a soccer goalie as a child, for which he wore a plastic brace. At Plymouth High School in Canton, Michigan, he started playing football, along with competing on the track and field team in discus and shot put. College career Brindza began attending Notre Dame in 2011 and was limited to being their kickoff specialist as a freshman. Placekicker
Placekicker, or simply kicker (PK or K), is the player in gridiron football who is responsible for the kicking duties of field goals and extra points. In many cases, the placekicker also serves as the team's kickoff specialist or punter. Specialized role The kicker initially was not a specialized role. Prior to the 1934 standardization of the prolate spheroid shape of the ball, drop kicking was the prevalent method of kicking field goals and conversions, but even after its replacement by place kicking, until the 1960s the kicker almost always doubled at another position on the roster. Patrick Murray (born June 22, 1991) is a former American football placekicker. He played college football at Fordham. College career Murray was raised in Mahwah, New Jersey. After playing football for Don Bosco Preparatory High School, Murray considered attending college in Dublin, but decided to play for Fordham, with whom he served as both punter and kicker. He appeared in 44 games in his four-year career (2009–2012) at Fordham, finishing with 186 punts for 7,985 yards and 38 made field goals on 54 attempts. Connor Thomas Barth (born April 11, 1986) is a former American football placekicker who played ten seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at North Carolina and was signed by the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent in 2008. Timothy Wright (born April 7, 1990) is a former American football tight end. He was signed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent in 2013.
