The Kyiv National Economic University ( uk, Київський національний економічний університет імені Вадима Гетьмана, lit=Vadym Hetman Kyiv National Economic University) is a self-governing public university in Kyiv, Ukraine. The university was founded in 1906 as Higher commercial courses. Its estimated quality of education and researches puts the university on the third place in National ranking of the universities (Compass, 2012) in Ukraine. According to one of the leading university rankings in the world (Eduniversal, 2015), KNEU occupied the second position among universities in Ukraine. In 2020, in the same ranking, it took the third place among Ukrainian universities. The university was named in honor of Vadym Hetman in 2005. Prospect Peremohy
Prospect Peremohy (, uk, Проспект Перемоги, lit=Victory Avenue, translit=Prospekt Peremohy), commonly known as Victory Avenue, is the second longest public roadway ( prospekt) in Kyiv, Ukraine. The roadway was created in the second half of the 20th century (1964) as part of the urbanized area of the Brest-Lytovske highway and was known as Brest-Lytovskyi prospect. At the beginning of the Soviet perestroika period in 1985, it was renamed to its current name. History Originally being terminated at the Povitroflotskyi overpass, in 1985, when it was renamed, the prospect was extended all the way to the Peremohy Square which until 1985 was part of boulevard Tarasa Shevchenka. Olena Derevianko (born 1 August 1974) is a Ukrainian academic, Professor of Social Communications in the National University of Kharkiv and National University of Food Technologies, publicist and journalist. She is a co-founder of Ukrainian agency PR-service.
