Kurt Lovett
Kurt Lovett (born 15 January 1997) is a field hockey player from Australia, who plays as a midfielder. Personal life Kurt Lovett was born and raised in Parkes, New South Wales. He is a current scholarship holder with the New South Wales Institute of Sport ''(NSWIS).'' Career Domestic leagues Australian Hockey League In 2016, Lovett made his debut for the NSW Waratahs in the Australian Hockey League. His AHL career spanned three seasons, culminating in 2018 with a silver medal. Hockey One Following Hockey Australia's overhaul of the AHL and subsequent introduction of the Sultana Bran Hockey One League in 2019, Kurt Lovett was named in the NSW Pride squad for the inaugural season. The team eventually won the tournament, giving Lovett his first senior national title. Parkes is a town in the Central West region of New South Wales, Australia. It is the main settlement in the local government area of Parkes Shire. The 2016 Men's Hockey Junior World Cup was the 11th edition of the Hockey Junior World Cup for men, an international field hockey tournament. It was held in Lucknow, India from 8–18 December 2016. A total of sixteen teams competed for the title. Host nation India won the tournament for the second time after defeating Belgium 2–1 in the final. The 2019 Men's Sultana Bran Hockey One was the inaugural men's edition of Hockey Australia's national league, ''Hockey One''. The tournament was held across 7 states and territories of Australia. The tournament started on 29 September and culminated on 16 November 2019. The grand final of the tournament was hosted by HC Melbourne, as the top ranked team to qualify for the final in the women's league.
