Andrea Kruis
Andrea Kruis (born 22 October 1962 in Rotterdam) is a Dutch comics artist. She attended the Minerva Art Academy in Groningen. She illustrated several children's books. Starting in 1991 she creates comics for weekly magazines. Her first book was published in 1998. She followed the footsteps of father Jan Kruis, best known for his one-page comic Jan, Jans en de Kinderen (Jack, Jacky & the Juniors). Catootje, the younger bespectacled half of the two daughters, is modelled after Andrea. Her work, although visibly influenced by her father, is softer and more minimalistic than his efforts. Gideon Jacobus Kruis (born 9 May 1974), popularly known as Deon Kruis, is a South African first-class cricketer who played in England with Yorkshire County Cricket Club for five seasons from 2004 to 2009. George Kruis
George Edward John Kruis (born 22 February 1990) is an English former professional rugby union player. He played lock for Saracens and represented England and the British & Irish Lions. He was almost always used as a jumper in the line-out due to his height and athleticism. Early life Kruis was born in Guildford, Surrey and was educated at Belmont Preparatory School and St John's School, Leatherhead. He played all of his youth rugby for Dorking RFC. Kruis was a relatively late developer in both physique and rugby terms, not really coming into his own until his sixth form years at School. In the Spring of 2007 Kruis and his Dorking RFC under-17 teammates won the U17 National Cup beating Altrincham Kersal in the final at Sixways Stadium. Johannes Andries “Jan” Kruis (; 8 June 1933 – 19 January 2017) was a Dutch comics artist best known for the family strip '' Jack, Jacky and the Juniors'' (''Jan, Jans en de Kinderen''). Biography He began creating comics as a child. Later he worked for the Dutch comics pioneer Marten Toonder. Kruis started his own comics career drawing ''Prins Freddie'' for the magazine ''De Havenloods'', but became famous thanks to his series of one-pagers called '' Jan, Jans en de Kinderen'' (" Jack, Jacky and the Juniors").
