Krister Hammarbergh (born 1963) is a Swedish politician of the Moderate Party. He was member of the Riksdag representing Norrbotten County from 2004 to 2018. In 2010, he was appointed the Moderate Party's Chairman in the Riksdag Justice Committee. The Moderate Party ( sv, Moderata samlingspartiet , ; M), commonly referred to as the Moderates ( ), is a liberal-conservative political party in Sweden. The party generally supports tax cuts, the free market, civil liberties and economic liberalism. Internationally, it is a full member of the International Democrat Union and the European People's Party. The party was founded in 1904 as the General Electoral League (''Allmänna valmansförbundet'' ) by a group of conservatives in the Riksdag, the Swedish parliament. Norrbotten County
Norrbotten County ( sv, Norrbottens län; se, Norrbottena leatna, fi, Norrbottenin lääni) is the northernmost county or '' län'' of Sweden. It is also the largest county by land area, almost a quarter of Sweden's total area. It shares borders with Västerbotten County to the southwest, the Gulf of Bothnia to the southeast, the counties of Nordland and Troms og Finnmark in Norway to the northwest, and Lapland Province in Finland to the northeast.
