Krasne, Zolochiv Raion, Lviv Oblast
Krasne ( uk, Красне) is an urban-type settlement in Zolochiv Raion of Lviv Oblast in Ukraine. The settlement is located east of the city of Lviv, on the left bank of the Poltva, a right tributary of the Bug. It hosts the administration of Krasne settlement hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Population: Until 18 July 2020, Krasne belonged to Busk Raion. The raion was abolished in July 2020 as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, which reduced the number of raions of Lviv Oblast to seven. The area of Busk Raion was merged into Zolochiv Raion. Highway M09 (Ukraine)
Highway M09 is a Ukrainian international highway ( M-highway) which is part of the Warsaw - Lviv route. It starts as a split-off from the M12 near Ternopil, runs through Lviv, then turns north and heads towards the border with Poland. The highway terminates at the border checkpoint Rava-Ruska. Across the Polish border it continues as National Road 17 ( DK17). The entire route is part of European route E372. Highway M06 is a Ukrainian international highway ( M-highway) connecting Kyiv to the Hungarian border near Chop, where it continues as Hungarian main road 4 to Záhony and Budapest. Busk Raion ( uk, Буський район) was a raion (district) in Lviv Oblast (region) in western Ukraine. It was established in 1966. Its administrative center was the town of Busk. A hromada ( uk, територіальна громада, lit=territorial community, translit=terytorialna hromada) is a basic unit of administrative division in Ukraine, similar to a municipality. It was established by the Government of Ukraine on 12 June 2020. Similar terms exist in Poland (''gromada'') and in Belarus (''hramada''). Poltva
The Poltva (; pl, Pełtew) is a river in the western Ukrainian Oblast of Lviv and a tributary of the Bug. The Poltva valley cuts between the Podilian Plateau and Roztichia. The capital of the Lviv Oblast, Lviv, is located on the river, with the river flowing directly beneath Lviv's central street, Freedom Avenue (''Prospect Svobody''), and the Lviv Theatre of Opera and Ballet. The river once faced significant problems with pollution. As a result, the river was covered up and included into the underground sewer system of Lviv, beginning in 1839. During World War 2, the underground river was used as a hiding place for Jews fleeing Nazi violence.
