Kpendjal
Kpendjal is a prefecture located in the Savanes Region of Togo. The prefecture seat is located in Mandouri. The cantons (or subdivisions) of Kpendjal include Mandouri, Namondjoga, Pogno, Koundjoaré, Naki-Est, Borgou, Ogaro, Tambigou, Nayéga, Papri, and Tambonga. In the far northwest of Kpendjal is a long, thin strip along the border with Burkina Faso that includes Togo's farthest north and farthest west points. In this area is also Togo's only border with the Boulgou Province Boulgou is one of the 45 provinces of Burkina Faso and is in Centre-Est Region. The capital of Boulgou is Tenkodogo. The population of Boulgou in 2019 was 736,559.

Mandouri is a city in Togo. It is the seat of Kpendjal Prefecture in Savanes Region, located 48 km from the border with Ghana, 105 km from the city of Dapaong and about 600 km from the capital, Lomé Lomé is the capital and largest city of Togo. It has an urban population of 837,437

Savanes Region, Togo
Savanes is the northernmost of the five Regions of Togo. Dapaong is the regional capital. Another major town in the region is Mango (Togo), Mango. Savanes is divided into the prefectures of Kpendjal, Oti, Togo, Oti, Tandjouaré, and Tône. To the south of Savanes is Kara Region, its only domestic border.
