Konawe Regency
Konawe Regency is one of the regencies in the province of Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia. The capital of the regency is Unaaha. The regency was once known as the district of Kendari. The regency had a population of 241,428 at the 2010 Census, but has since been reduced by the separation of the offshore island districts (comprising Wawonii Island) as the new Konawe Islands Regency in 2013. It now covers 5,781.08 km2 and had a population of 257,011 at the 2020 Census. Prior to its division in 2003, 2007 and 2013, Konawe was known as the rice granary of the province of Southeast Sulawesi because half of the province's rice production comes from Konawe. Telephone numbers in Indonesia have different systems for land lines and mobile phones: land lines use area codes, while mobile phones do not. For land line area codes, the digit "0" is added in front when dialing domestic long distance from within Indonesia, but is always omitted when calling from abroad. North Konawe Regency
North Konawe Regency (''Kabupaten Konawe Utara'') is a regency of Southeast Sulawesi Province, Indonesia. It was formed in 2007 by splitting off seven of the northern districts of Konawe Regency to form a new North Konawe Regency (''Kabupaten Konawe Utara''). It is surrounded on all landward sides by the remaining area of the Konawe Regency, and covers an area of 5,101.76 km2. It had a population of 51,447 at the 2010 Census and 67,871 at the 2020 Census. South Konawe Regency (''Kabupaten Konawe Selatan'') is a regency of Southeast Sulawesi Province, Indonesia. It covers an area of 4,200.89 km2 and had a population of 264,587 at the 2010 Census and of 308,524 at the 2020 Census. The official estimate as at mid 2021 was 312,674. The administrative centre is in the town of Andoolo. Kendari
Kendari is the capital city of the Indonesian province of Southeast Sulawesi. With a population of 345,107 according to the 2020 census, it is the most populous city in the province, and the fourth most on Sulawesi.
