Harrison Mungai "Harry" Kimani (born c. 1982) is a Kenyan musician and composer. Biography Kimani grew up with music, teaching himself to play the guitar by watching an older brother perform. He attended Kirangari High School in Nairobi, where he already showed a great interest in music; he sang, composed songs, participated in music festivals and, at one time, conducted the school choir. His first love in high school inspired him to compose a song called "African Woman," which was well received among his friends; they urged him to record the song. In 1999, Kimani left school to look for a recording studio. Eventually, in 2000, he met producer Maurice Oyando of Next Level Productions; with Oyando's assistance, he recorded "African Woman," which was released as a single. Joseph Kimani (September 1, 1972 – November 1, 2012) was a Kenyan long-distance runner who competed over 10,000 metres on the track and in road running competitions. In his native country, he was commonly referred to as "KK" for Kimani Karanja. In other parts of the world, he was king of the road. He was the Superstar of most road races in the 1990s. Lucia Kimani
Lucia Kimani Mwahiki-Marčetić (born 21 June 1981) is a Kenyan-born Bosnian long-distance runner who holds four Bosnian records over different distances. In 2004, she married her Bosnian Serb husband Siniša Marčetić. They met earlier that year in Salzburg, Austria, where they ran a half-marathon race. On 19 August 2005, they moved to Bosnia and Herzegovina and currently live in Banja Luka. Her husband is from Prijedor. In 2006 Lucia received Bosnian citizenship. Lucia was part of the Bosnian Olympic team at the 2008 Summer Olympics. She withdrew from the 2012 marathon race due to a back injury, but competed at the 2016 Rio Olympics. Mbugua Martin Kimani (born 1971) is a Kenyan government official and diplomat. He has served as Kenya's Permanent Representative to the United Nations since December 2020. He previously served as the Director of the National Counter Terrorism Centre and as a Special Envoy for Countering Violent Extremism in Kenya. Early life Kimani was born in 1971 in Mombasa. Kimani Jones (born December 21, 1981) is a former American football offensive lineman. Prior to his Arena Football career, he played football at Arkansas State University; as a senior, Jones earned First Team All-Sun Belt Conference honors. Kimani Ng'ang'a Maruge ( – August 14, 2009) holds the Guinness World Record for being the oldest person to leave primary school—he enrolled in the first grade on January 12, 2004, aged 84.
