Katrin Siska
Katrin Siska (born December 10, 1983) is an Estonian celebrity, vlogger, and musician, where she is a former member of the Estonian girl group, Vanilla Ninja. Siska was born in Tallinn, Estonia. Alongside her musical commitments, she has also been studying finance and accounting at a vocational school and international relations and diplomacy in Tallinn. After moving back to Estonia with Vanilla Ninja from Germany in 2006, she returned to university to study law at Tallinn University of Technology. She is fluent in Estonian, Russian, English, German and Finnish. At the university she has been studying also French. Siska was a member of a choir during her schooltime and started playing the piano when she was 7 years old. She has a younger sister. Finnish ( endonym: or ) is a Uralic language of the Finnic branch, spoken by the majority of the population in Finland and by ethnic Finns outside of Finland. Vanilla Ninja Members
Vanilla is a spice derived from orchids of the genus ''Vanilla'', primarily obtained from pods of the Mexican species, flat-leaved vanilla ('' V. planifolia''). Pollination is required to make the plants produce the fruit from which the vanilla spice is obtained. In 1837, Belgian botanist Charles François Antoine Morren discovered this fact and pioneered a method of artificially pollinating the plant. The method proved financially unworkable and was not deployed commercially. In 1841, Edmond Albius, a 12-year-old enslaved child who lived on the French island of Réunion in the Indian Ocean, discovered that the plant could be hand-pollinated. Hand-pollination allowed global cultivation of the plant. Noted French botanist and plant collector Jean Michel Claude Richard falsely claimed to have discovered the technique three or four years earlier.
