Kari-Anne Jønnes (born 13 April 1972) is a Norwegian politician for the Conservative Party. She has been a member of the Storting since 2021. Biography Jønnes was born on 13 April 1972. She hails from Gran, and was a member of the municipal council of Gran from 2007 to 2015. Storting
The Storting ( no, Stortinget ) (lit. the Great Thing) is the supreme legislature of Norway, established in 1814 by the Constitution of Norway. It is located in Oslo. The unicameral parliament has 169 members and is elected every four years based on party-list proportional representation in nineteen multi-seat constituencies. is a municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. It is located in the traditional district of Hadeland. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Jaren. Oppland is one of the 19 multi-member constituencies of the Storting, the national legislature of Norway. The constituency was established as Opland in 1921 following the introduction of proportional representation for elections to the Storting. Its spelling was settled as Oppland in 1950. Oppland Politicians
Oppland is a former county in Norway which existed from 1781 until its dissolution on 1 January 2020. The old Oppland county bordered the counties of Trøndelag, Møre og Romsdal, Sogn og Fjordane, Buskerud, Akershus, Oslo and Hedmark. The county administration was located in the town of Lillehammer. Merger On 1 January 2020, the neighboring counties of Oppland and Hedmark were merged to form the new Innlandet county. Both Oppland and Hedmark were the only landlocked counties of Norway, and the new Innlandet county is the only landlocked county in Norway. The two counties had historically been one county that was divided in 1781. Historically, the region was commonly known as "Opplandene".
