KC Becker
Kathleen Collins Becker is an American politician who served in the Colorado House of Representatives from the 13th district from 2013 to 2021, as Majority Leader from 2017 to 2019, and as Speaker from 2019 to 2021, as a member of the Democratic Party. Prior to her tenure in the state legislature, she served on the city council in Boulder, Colorado. On November 18, 2021, it was announced that President Joe Biden selected Becker to be the head of the EPA for the mountain and plains region. Early life and education Kathleen Collins Becker graduated from the College of William & Mary with a Bachelor of Arts in government in 1991, from Lewis & Clark College with a Juris Doctor in 1996, and from the Daniels College of Business at University of Denver with a Master of Science in 2005. Steve Lebsock is an American politician who served in the Colorado House of Representatives from the 34th district as a member of the Democratic and Republican parties from 2013 until his expulsion in 2018. Prior to his tenure in the state house he served on the city council in Thornton, Colorado from 2003 to 2011. Lebsock was born in Sterling, Colorado, and educated at Westminster High School and the Metropolitan State University of Denver. He was in the United States Marine Corps for three years and served on the Thornton city council for eight years.
