Kwes
Kwesi Sey, professionally known as Kwes (; sometimes stylised as ''kwes'', ''kwes.'', ''Kwes.'' or '' =o'' ) is a British music producer, composer and artist from London, England. Kwes is also currently signed to Warp as a solo artist and released his debut album, '' ilp'', in October 2013. He has since gone on to produce music for the likes of Damon Albarn, Bobby Womack, Solange Knowles, Sampha, Loyle Carner, Black Coffee, Nubya Garcia, Mica Levi, Tirzah, Lucy Rose and numerous others. He also composed his debut feature length score for 2023 British rom-com film Rye Lane, directed by Raine Allen-Miller. It won a BIFA in 2023 for Best Original Music. Biography Kwes began playing his grandparents' organ at the age of four and his grandmother bought him his first small keyboard aged 5. Mica Levi
Micaela Rachel "Mica" Levi (born February 1987), also known by their stage name Micachu, is an English musician, composer, producer, singer, and songwriter. Levi studied composition at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, but left without a degree when their experimental pop band Micachu and the Shapes began to achieve early success. Their debut album ''Jewellery'' (2009) received enthusiastic reviews and was followed by several more studio albums, with the group changing their name to Good Sad Happy Bad in 2016. Levi has also released solo projects under both the Micachu moniker and their given name, and has frequently collaborated with other artists, including Kwes and Tirzah. In the early 2010s, Levi made their debut as a film composer, creating the widely praised score for Jonathan Glazer's film '' Under the Skin'' (2013). Tirzah (musician)
Tirzah is an English singer-songwriter. Her first solo record, the EP ''I'm Not Dancing'', was released in 2013 on Greco-Roman. Her debut studio album, ''Devotion (Tirzah album), Devotion'', was released in 2018 on Domino Recording Company, Domino. Her second studio album ''Colourgrade'' was released in 2021 and her third ''trip9love'' followed in 2023, both also on Domino. She has collaborated frequently with musician Mica Levi, and has contributed to works by Tricky (musician), Tricky, Kwes, Dels, Mura Masa, and others. Personal life Tirzah was born in Braintree, Essex as the youngest of five children. After growing up playing Celtic harp, she attended the Purcell School for Young Musicians with frequent collaborator Mica Levi. Sampha Lahai Sisay (born 16 November 1988) is a British singer, songwriter, musician and record producer from Morden, South London. Sampha has collaborated with Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Frank Ocean, SBTRKT, Jessie Ware, Alicia Keys, Gorillaz, Travis Scott, Kanye West, Solange and others. Coby Sey
Coby Sey is a British musician, songwriter, artist, vocalist and NTS Radio host, born and based in Lewisham, South East London. He has worked with musicians Tirzah, Mica Levi, DELS, Kwes, Laurel Halo, Klein, Lafawndah and London Contemporary Orchestra, artists Hannah Perry and Maëva Berthelot and has remixed Kelly Lee Owens, Max de Wardener and Leifur James. In 2019 he had a featured session on BBC Radio 3 Late Junction in an improvised collaboration with PAN affiliated artist Pan Daijing.
