Kvinnornas Andelsförening Svenska Hem (literally: Women's Cooperative Society Swedish Home) or commonly just Svenska Hem (Swedish Home) was a Swedish food cooperative, founded in 1905, and merged with the Kooperativa Förbundet in 1916.Björk, Monika; Kaijser Eva (2005). History The cooperative was co-founded 8 November 1905 in Stockholm by Anna Whitlock and Ina Almén as an effort to ensure good quality of the food in the city's groceries. At the time it was not uncommon for grocers to mask bad food by such means as, for example, mixing chalk into sugar. The idea of Svenska Hem was a cooperative managed by women, which was to provide healthy food with high quality at reasonable prices. A bonus system was established for the benefit of the customers. Anna Karin Larsson (later ''Ahlström'', 30 August 1941 – 21 September 2019) was a Swedish swimmer who won a bronze medal at the 1958 European Aquatics Championships in the 4×100 m freestyle relay. She competed in the same event at the 1956 and 1960 Summer Olympics and finished sixth in both games. Individually, she was eliminated in the preliminaries of the 100 m and 400 m freestyle. Sissela Maria Kyle (born 17 March 1957, in Örgryte, Gothenburg, Sweden) is a Swedish actress, theater director and comedian. Biography Early life Sissela Kyle is the daughter of Per Gunnar Kyle and Gunnhild Kyle née Karlson (1921-2016). She grew up in Partille outside of Gothenburg. During her upbringing she was very interested in theater, and became part of a theater group in Gothenburg. After moving away from home in 1976 she started to work as a teacher temp and in 1978 she was accepted in to the Theater School of Stockholm. She studied in the same class as Peter Stormare, Jessica Zandén, Maria Johansson and Tomas Norström. Harriet Sofie Bosse (19 February 1878 – 2 November 1961) was a Swedish–Norwegian actress. A celebrity in her day, Bosse is now most commonly remembered as the third wife of the playwright August Strindberg. Bosse began her career in a minor company run by her forceful older sister Alma Fahlstrøm in Kristiania (now Oslo, the capital of Norway). Hanna Hirsch, later Hanna Pauli (Stockholm, 13 January 1864 – 29 December 1940, Solna), was a Swedish painter; primarily of Genre art, genre scenes and portraits. Life Hanna Hirsch was a daughter of music publisher Abraham Hirsch. She was a friend of Eva Bonnier, and they followed each other through the painting school of August Malmström, and the Royal Swedish Academy of Arts in Stockholm. Hanna Hirsch studied in Paris from 1885 until 1887 at the Académie Colarossi, and shared a studio with Bonnier for part of that time. While working in Paris, she formed a number of close friendships with other women artists from the Nordic countries.
