Krzysztof Tołwiński
Krzysztof Tołwiński (born 28 February 1968 in Siemiatycze) is a Polish agrarian politician, farmer, and former deputy minister of the treasury from September to November 2007. In 2010 he became a deputy in the Sejm from the Białystok constituency. He replaced Krzysztof Putra who died in the Smolensk air disaster. He ran for election in 2019 starting from the Confederation list but was not elected. He was a candidate in the 2019–20 Confederation presidential primary. In 2022, he became the leader of the Front party. Siemiatycze
Siemiatycze ( ''Siamiatyčy'') is a town in eastern Poland, with 14,391 inhabitants (2019). It is the capital of Siemiatycze County in the Podlaskie Voivodeship. History The history of Siemiatycze dates back to the mid-16th century, when the village was part of the Podlaskie Voivodeship (1513–1795), Podlasie Voivodeship of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. In 1542, King Sigismund II Augustus granted town charter to Siemiatycze, and with the 1569 Union of Lublin, it passed to the Crown of the Kingdom of Poland, Kingdom of Poland within the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth. For centuries Siemiatycze remained property of several Polish-Lithuanian magnate families. The town, conveniently located along the Bug River, and near local administrative centers at Drohiczyn and Mielnik, became a popular market place, where farmers sold their produce. Białystok constituency () is a Polish parliamentary constituency that is coterminous with the Podlaskie Voivodeship. It elects fourteen members of the Sejm.
