Kristóf Palasics
Kristóf Palasics (born 19 April 2002) is a Hungarian handball player for Veszprém KC, ONE Veszprém and the Hungary men's national handball team, Hungary national team. Career Club Kristóf started his career at Gödöllői Főnix ISE, where he developed his skills under the professional guidance of former top goalkeeper Tamás Zsembery. In 2016, he certified for PLER KC, PLER-Budapest. In August 2018, he signed a contract with Veszprém KC, Telekom Veszprém. The goalkeeping talent spent the first league seasons - with the exception of a few Nemzeti Bajnokság I (men's handball), Nemzeti Bajnokság I matches - in the youth team of the Veszprém team. From the 2020/2021 season, he was a member of the Nemzeti Bajnokság I/B (men's handball), Nemzeti Bajnokság I/B BFKA-Veszprém with a double playing permit. Kistarcsa
Kistarcsa () is a town in Pest County, Budapest metropolitan area, Hungary. A site of the Kistarcsa concentration camp during the Holocaust. Later an internment camp of State Protection Authority for political prisoners during the 1950s. History Only a few archaeological excavations were held on the territory of Kistarcsa; the earliest findings are from the Neolithic Era (4000–2500 BC). From this time it was always a populated area: Celts, Vandals, Alans, Sarmatas and Avars lived here. After the fall of the Avar Empire the Magyars found an underpopulated area, so they could settle down easily. Their settlement can be dated back to the 10th to 13th centuries according to the excavated area next to the cemetery of Kistarcsa. The European Handball Federation (EHF) is the umbrella organisation for European handball. Founded on 17 November 1991, it is made of 50 member federations and two associated federations (England and Scotland), and is headquartered in Vienna, Austria. Magyar Kupa (men's Handball)
Magyar Kupa (English: Hungarian Cup) is the main domestic cup for Hungarian men's team handball clubs, which is organized and supervised by the Hungarian Handball Federation. The competition is held annually, starting in September and concluding in April. The teams play in a one-leg knockout system with a final four tournament in the end. The winner of the Hungarian cup get the right to participate in the next year's EHF Cup Winners' Cup, unless they secure a place in the EHF Champions League. 2025 World Men's Handball Championship
The 2025 IHF World Men's Handball Championship was the 29th such event hosted by the International Handball Federation. It was held in Croatia, Denmark and Norway from 14 January to 2 February 2025. This edition marked the first time the world championship was held in three countries.
