Kristo Dominković
Kristo P. Dominković ( sr-Cyrl, Кристо Доминковић; 16 January 1877 - 20 October 1946) was a Serbian journalist and writer from Dubrovnik. He was a contributor to several magazines, and was best known for being the long-time editor of the magazine ''Dubrovnik''. Biography Krsto P. Dominković was born in Dubrovnik on 16 January 1877, then part of Austria-Hungary. He finished high school in Dubrovnik, and then went to Vienna to study medicine and distinguished himself by being active in organizations of Serbian student youth. After a few semesters, he returned to Dubrovnik and began working in journalism. After the death of Antun Fabris he at one point served as the editor of the "Srđ" magazine. Serbian Sokol Movement
The Sokol movement (, ) is an all-age gymnastics organization founded in Prague in the Czech lands of Austria-Hungary in 1862 by Miroslav Tyrš and Jindřich Fügner. It was based upon the principle of "Mens sana in corpore sano, a strong mind in a sound body". Sokol, through lectures, discussions, and group outings, provided what Tyrš viewed as physical, moral, and intellectual training for the nation. This training extended to men of all ages and classes, and eventually to women. The Order of St. Sava () is an ecclesiastic decoration conferred by the Serbian Orthodox Church and a dynastic order presented by the house of Karađorđević.
