Kristjan Makke
Kristjan Makke (born March 12, 1981, in Kohtla-Järve, Estonia) is an Estonian professional basketballer. He is currently playing for TTÜ KK at the center/forward position. Makke started his senior club career at the age of fifteen with "BC Kalev" in 1996. After that he attended high school and college in the United States. In 2001, he moved to Tallinna Kalev. He played there until December 2002 and then moved to Ehitustööriist where he spent the next season also. In 2004–05 Makke played for Audentese Ülikool and then signed with Nybit. After three seasons in the team Makke joined TTÜ KK. He is currently the captain of the team. The center (C), or the centre, also known as the five, the big or the pivot, is one of the five Basketball position, positions in a regulation basketball game. The center is almost always the tallest player on the team, and often has a great deal of strength and body mass as well. In the National Basketball Association, NBA, the center is typically close to tall; centers in the Women's National Basketball Association, WNBA are typically above . EuroBasket 2003
The 2003 FIBA European Championship, commonly called FIBA EuroBasket 2003, was the 33rd FIBA EuroBasket regional basketball championship held by FIBA Europe, which also served as the Europe qualifier for the 2004 Summer Olympics, giving a berth to the top three teams in the final standings. It was held in Sweden between 5 September and 14 September 2003. Sixteen national teams entered the event under the auspices of FIBA Europe, the sport's regional governing body. The Estonian Cup (), also known as the Kaamos SuperCup for sponsorship reasons, is an annual cup competition for Estonian basketball teams. It is organized by the Estonian Basketball Association.
