Kornél Nagy
Kornél Nagy (born 21 November 1986) is a Hungarian former handball player who played the Hungarian national team. He participated in five European Championships (2008, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016) and three World Championships (2007, 2011, 2013). Club Career From 2002 to 2005 he played for Békési FKC. He then joined Dunaferr SE, where he played until 2010. He then joined MKB Veszprém KC, where he won the Hungarian Championship and Cup in his single season at the club. In 2011 he joined US Dunkerque HB in France. Here he won the 2012 French Supercup, the 2013 French League Cup and the 2014 French championship. In 2012 he reached the final of the EHF Cup, where he lost to German club Frisch Auf Göppingen. He retired in 2024 He played 331 matches for the Dunkerque, scoring 1018 goals. Püspökladány
Püspökladány (pronounced ) is the sixth largest town of Hajdú-Bihar county in North Eastern Hungary with a population of approximately 16,000 people. It is located southwest of Debrecen at the juncture of three regions: Sárrét, Hortobágy and Nagykunság. The Coupe de la Ligue was an annual League cup competition for French men's handball professional clubs. Organized by the Ligue Nationale de Handball, it first took place in 2002. He was run by the French Handball Federation for the two first years, and in 2004 the Ligue Nationale de Handball took over until it was cancelled in 2022.. Magyar Kupa (men's Handball)
Magyar Kupa (English: Hungarian Cup) is the main domestic cup for Hungarian men's team handball clubs, which is organized and supervised by the Hungarian Handball Federation. The competition is held annually, starting in September and concluding in April. The teams play in a one-leg knockout system with a final four tournament in the end. The winner of the Hungarian cup get the right to participate in the next year's EHF Cup Winners' Cup, unless they secure a place in the EHF Champions League.
