Vajra
The Vajra (, , ), is a legendary and ritualistic tool, symbolizing the properties of a diamond (indestructibility) and a thunderbolt (irresistible force). It is also described as a "ritual weapon". The use of the bell and vajra together as symbolic and ritual tools is found in all schools of Tibetan Buddhism. The vajra is a round, symmetrical metal scepter with two ribbed spherical heads. The ribs may meet in a ball-shaped top, or they may be separate and end in sharp points. The vajra is considered inseparable from the bell, and both are sold in dharma stores only in matching sets. The bell is also metal with a ribbed spherical head. The bell also depicts the face of Dhatvisvari, a female buddha and the consort of Akshobhya. Mount Kongō
is a mountain in the Kongō Range in the Kawachi region of Osaka Prefecture, Kansai, Japan. It is near Mount Yamato Katsuragi. The mountain has lent its name to a series of naval ships and ship classes: the Imperial Japanese Navy's 1877 ironclad ''Kongō''; the 1912 battleship ''Kongō'', the name ship of her class; and the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force's current destroyer ''Kongō'' (DDG-173), also the name ship of her class. Kongō Range
The is a mountain range on the borders of Nara Prefecture, Nara and Osaka Prefectures on the island of Honshū in the southwest of central Japan. The range separates the Osaka Plain and the Nara Basin, and forms a natural place for the boundary between the prefectures. The primary mountain in the range is Mount Kongō, and is contained within the Kongō-Ikoma-Kisen Quasi-National Park. The sutra mounds of the Katsuragi 28 Shuku are scattered throughout the Kongō Range. Geography The Kongō Range is about long, from the Yamato River in the north to the Kino River in the south. Kongō Masahiro
Kongō Masahiro (18 November 1948 - 12 August 2014) was a former sumo wrestler from Hokkaidō, Japan. His highest rank was ''sekiwake'' and he won a top division tournament championship in 1975. He was a sumo coach and head of the Nishonoseki stable from 1976 until 2013. Career He was born in Fukagawa as Masahiro Yoshizawa, and joined the Nishonoseki stable (home of the great Taihō) in May 1964 at the age of 15. He initially wrestled under the ''shikona'' of Oyoshizawa, based on his own surname. He first appeared on the ''banzuke'' ranking sheets in July 1964 and won all seven of his bouts, taking the '' jonokuchi'' championship with a perfect 7–0 record. However his progress slowed somewhat after that. In 1966 he made the third ''makushita'' division, and gradually climbed up to ''makushita'' 3 before dropping to ''makushita'' 6 for the July 1969 tournament.
