Akihiko Koike (; born April 10, 1973) is a retired male race walking, race walker from Nagano, Nagano, Nagano, Japan. He set his personal best (1:20.16) in the men's 20 km on January 30, 2000, in Kobe. He made two major global appearances: first at the 1999 World Championships in Athletics, where he was 27th in the men's 50 km walk, and secondly at the 2000 Sydney Olympics, where he failed to finish the 20 km race. Reizo Koike
was a Japanese swimmer who specialized in the 200 m breaststroke. In this event he won a silver medal at the 1932 Olympics and a bronze medal at the 1936 Olympics, and set an unofficial world record in 100 m between these Olympics. During his career Koike won eight national titles. After the end of World War II, Koike became a coach for the Japanese national Olympic swimming team and chairman of the Japan Swimming Federation. He was present in Barcelona during the 1992 Summer Olympics, when Kyoko Iwasaki won the gold medal. In 1990 Koike received the Olympic Order in Silver, and in 1996 was inducted into the International Swimming Hall of Fame. He died of lung cancer in 1998. Yuriko Koike (小池 百合子, Koike Yuriko; born 15 July 1952) is a Japanese politician who has served as the Governor of Tokyo since 2016. Previously, she was also served as a member of the House of Councillors from 1992 to 1993, a member of the House of Representatives from 1993 to 2016, Minister of the Environment under from 2003 to 2006, and Minister of Defense in between July and August 2007. Born and raised in Ashiya, a wealthy, small, and popular city near Kobe in Hyōgo Prefecture, Koike graduated from Cairo University in Cairo, Egypt in 1976, and served as a member of the House of Representatives of Japan from 1993 until 2016, when she resigned to run for Governor of Tokyo. Previously, she also served as the Minister of the Environment under Junichiro Koizumi's cabinet from 2003 to 2006 and briefly as Minister of Defense under the first cabinet of Shinzo Abe in between July and August 2007.

is a former Japanese football player. Playing career Koike was born in Kanagawa Prefecture on November 10, 1974. After graduating from high school, he joined the Japan Football League club Tokyo Gas (later ''FC Tokyo'') in 1993. He played many matches as right side back from 1994. Takeshi Koike
(born January 26, 1968) is a Japanese animator, illustrator and film director. Something of a protégé of Yoshiaki Kawajiri, he was also influenced by Yoshinori Kanada, Frank Miller, Mike Mignola, and Katsuhito Ishii. He went straight from a high school education to beginning his career at Madhouse as an in-betweener on works directed by Kawajiri after being interviewed by him. His first professional work as director is the title sequence of the 2000 film Party 7; while his first feature film is ''Redline'', which premiered in 2009 and was released in 2010.
