Knindže
The Kninjas (), also known as the Red Berets, was a Serb paramilitary unit and a volunteer militia supporting the Serbian Army of Krajina, Army of Serb Krajina during the Croatian War of Independence. It was based in Knin, the capital of breakaway SAO Krajina that became the Republic of Serb Krajina (RSK). It was led by Serbian-Australian Dragan Vasiljković war criminal, known as "Captain Dragan". The unit was one of several notable Serb paramilitary units, alongside the White Eagles (paramilitary), White Eagles, Serb Volunteer Guard, Serbian Volunteer Guard, Scorpions (paramilitary), Scorpions, Wolves of Vučjak, and others. Unit for Special Operations ( sr-Cyrl-Latn, Јединица за специјалне операције, Jedinica za specijalne operacije; abbr. ЈСО or JSO) or Special Operations Unit, also known as Red Berets (by berets; sr-Cyrl-Latn, Црвене беретке, Crvene beretke, links=no) or Frankies (by Franko Simatović; sr-Cyrl-Latn, Френкијевци, Frenkijevci, links=no), was an elite special forces police unit of Serbian State Security Directorate (RDB). Battle Of Hrvatska Kostajnica
The Battle of Hrvatska Kostajnica () was a military engagement fought between the proclaimed Croatian-Serb Serbian Autonomous Oblast of Krajina (SAO Krajina) supported by the Yugoslav People’s Army (Jugoslavenska Narodna Armija) and local Territorial Defense based in Bosanska Kostajnica, against the Croatian National Guard (ZNG) and Croatian policemen. Fought between July 17th, and ending with the capture of Kostajnica on September 13th, the desired result was mainly to kill Croatian President Franjo Tuđman, whom was inspecting Croatian National Guard personnel in Hrvatska Kostajnica. Bruška Massacre
The Bruška massacre took place on 21 December 1991 in Bruška, a small village near the Croatian town of Benkovac when Serbian paramilitaries executed 10 civilians in the hamlet of Marinovići. Nine were members of the Marinović family and one was a Serb neighbor. They were led out of the house after playing cards and shot on the spot by members of a paramilitary group called " Knindže". Milan Martić ( sr-Cyrl, Милан Мартић; born 18 December 1954) is a Croatian Serb politician and war criminal who served as the president of the unrecognized Republic of Serbian Krajina, a self-proclaimed state largely populated by Serbs of Croatia that wished to break away from Croatia during the Croatian War of Independence.
