Klågerup Castle
Klågerup Castle () is a mansion at Svedala Municipality in Scania, Sweden. History Klågerup was owned in the early 15th century by Peter Spoldener. However, by the 18th century the building was in bad shape and by 1737 extensive restorations were commissioned by Fredrik Trolle. The current main building was constructed by Carl Axel Trolle under design by architect Helgo Zettervall (1831-1907) in French Renaissance style. Svedala Municipality
Svedala Municipality () is a municipality in Skåne County in southern Sweden, just southeast of Malmö. Its seat is located in the town of Svedala. The present municipality is the result of a series of amalgamations, carried out in 1952, 1967, 1974 and 1977. Svedala was last municipality to be completed during the local government reform of the 1970s. There had been considerations of adding the whole or parts of the territory to Malmö Municipality. Scania ( ), also known by its native name of Skåne (), is the southernmost of the historical provinces of Sweden, provinces () of Sweden. Helgo Zettervall
Helgo Nikolaus Zettervall, older spelling ''Zetterwall'', (21 November 1831 – 17 March 1907) was a Swedish architect and professor of the Royal Swedish Academy of Arts. He is best known for his drastic restorations of churches and other buildings around Sweden. Biography Zettervall was born at Lidköping in Västra Götaland County, Sweden. He attended the Royal Swedish Academy of Fine Arts where he studied under Fredrik Wilhelm Scholander (1816–1881) and graduated during 1860. In 1862, he conducted a study trip to 1862 made a trip to Germany, France and Italy. After completing his studies Zettervall took over the restoration of Lund Cathedral from Carl Georg Brunius. Zettervall got the job after several more experienced architects had declined the job due to fear of Brunius. A castle is a type of fortified structure built during the Middle Ages predominantly by the nobility or royalty and by military orders.
