Ključ, Una-Sana Canton
Ključ ( sr-cyrl, Кључ, ) is a town and municipality located in the Una-Sana Canton of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, an entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The name of the town and the municipality translates to "Key" in English. Geography It is located a short distance south from Sanski Most. The Sana River runs through the municipality. The terrain is heavily forested. History Human settlements have existed in the area long before the Roman Era. The town itself is first mentioned in 1322 in the documents of ban Stjepan II Kotromanić. It was conquered by the Ottoman Empire in 1463 as the last Royal Bosnian fortress. Ključ fortress was first mentioned in 1322. In 1463, during the Ottoman invasion of Bosnia, the last Bosnian king Stjepan Tomašević, took refuge in the city. Ključ, Gacko
Ključ ( sr-Cyrl, Кључ) is a village in the municipality of Gacko, Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Geography The Village is located southwest of Gacko. It is separated from Gatačko polje by the Baba mountain (1,737 m). This mountain borders the Ključ-Cernik valley from the north, and Kamno brdo from the south. Considering that the mentioned hills protect the valley, the climate here is milder than in other areas in Gatačko polje and around Gacko. There are also several springs in Kljuc. Drniš
Drniš is a town in the Šibenik-Knin County, Croatia. Located in the Dalmatian Hinterland, it is about halfway between Šibenik and Knin. History The name Drniš was mentioned for the first time in a contract dated March 8, 1494. However, there are traces of an older Middle Ages' fortress built by Croatian aristocrat family Nelipić at the site called Gradina dominating the landscape. The town was conquered by the Ottoman Empire, Ottoman Turks in 1522 due to its strategic location. Many buildings from this time period are still preserved today.
