Klina
Klina (Albanian language, Albanian: ''Klinë'' or ''Klina'') is a List of cities in Kosovo, town and Municipalities of Kosovo, municipality located in the District of Peja of north-western Kosovo. According to the 2011 census, the town of Klina has 5,542 inhabitants, while the municipality has 38,496 inhabitants. It is located at the confluence of the river Klina (river), Klina into the White Drin. A symbol of Klina are the Mirusha Waterfalls. Klina (river)
The Klina (; Serbian Cyrillic: Клина) is a river in Kosovo, a long left tributary to the White Drin. It flows entirely within Kosovo. The Klina originates from the northeastern slopes of the Suva Planina mountain, south of the artificial Lake Gazivode on the Ibar river, under the Rudopolje peak. In the initial section of the course, the Klina curves a lot, first flows east (at the village of Kaldura), turns south (at Jabuka), east again (at Crepulja) and southeast (at Gornji Strmac). As it flows parallel to the Ibar and Sitnica rivers, it passes next to the medieval ruins of Perkovac town and the village of Gornja Klina, reaching the regional center of Skenderaj, the village of Llaushë and the monastery of Devič, where the Klina turns southwest, marking the northern border of the Drenica region. Dresnik ( or ''Dresniku;'' sr-Cyrl, Дрсник) is a settlement in the Klina municipality of Kosovo. History In the village of Dresnik lies the Archaeological Site of Dresnik. It is considered to be one of the most important archaeological sites not only in Kosovo, but also in the region, since it indicates the existence of civilization in Dresnik during the Roman Period. Mujë Krasniqi
Mujë Krasniqi (6 June 1967 – 14 December 1998), also known as Kommandant Kapuçi, was one of the founders and early commanders of Kosovo Liberation Army, who died during an Ambush of Serbian forces in Gorozhup, near the border of that time of Yugoslavia and Albania. Serving as an early fighter, coordinator of military operations, and a crucial link between the regions of Drenica, Dukagjin and Pashtrik during the initial phase of resistance against Serbian forces, he is regarded as a prominent leader and also a close comrade of Adem Jashari. Early life Mujë Krasniqi was born on June 6, 1967, in the village of Çabiqi, Klina, Kosovo. He was one of fourteen children in a family facing difficult living conditions. Anton Berisha
Anton Nikë Berisha (born August 7, 1946) is an Albanian scholar and folklorist. He has been teaching Albanian at the University of Calabria since 1992, and is considered an expert in Albanian oral and Arbëreshë literature. He is one of the Albanologists who have carried out extensive research on Albanian epic poetry, in particular collecting and publishing ''Kângë Kreshnikësh'', the traditional songs of the heroic legendary cycle of Albanian epic poetry. White Drin
The White Drin or White Drim (; , ) is a river in Kosovo and northern Albania, a ca. long headstream of the Drin. Course Kosovo The Kosovo section of the White Drin flows entirely in the semi-karst part of Kosovo, in an arc-shaped -long course. The river originates in the southern slopes of the Zhleb mountain, north of the town of Peja. The river springs near the Bukuroshja e Fjetur Cave. The cave is multi-levelled, not much explored and has a lake inside. The water from the spring was used by the Peja brewery. The stream is originally a sinking river which eventually springs out from the strong well and falls down as a -high waterfall named the White Drin Waterfall near the village of Radac, away from Peja. A municipality (; ) is the basic administrative division in Kosovo and constitutes the only level of power in local governance. The Archaeological Site of Dresnik () is an archaeological site in the village of Dresnik, Klina, Kosovo. It is considered by to be one of the most important archaeological sites not only in Kosovo, but also in the region. A number of discoveries have confirmed the presence of relics, buildings and rare mosaics on the site, indicating the existence of civilization in Dresnik during the Roman Period.
