Kleine Röder (Große Röder)
The Kleine Röder or Wilde Röder is a river in the eastern German state of Saxony. It is about long and rises on the southwestern slopes of the Eiersberg, Eierberg near Lichtenberg (Lausitz), Lichtenberg in the district of Bautzen at an elevation of . Below Leppersdorf (a village in the borough of Wachau, Saxony, Wachau), the stream changes its course from southwest to north, following the general lie of the land. It flows through Kleindittmannsdorf with its four former water mills. On the edge of the mighty Ottendorf-Okrilla, Okrilla Basin Sands (''Okrillaer Beckensande'') it swings west and discharges into the Große Röder in Cunnersdorf (a village in the borough Ottendorf-Okrilla). Its longest tributaries are, from the south, the Orla (Sachsen), Orla and, from the north, the Großnaundorfer Wasser. There are frequent floods in the catchment area of the Kleinen Röder. Landkreis Bautzen
The district of Bautzen (, ) is a district in the state of Saxony in Germany. Its largest towns are Bautzen, Bischofswerda, Kamenz, Hoyerswerda and Radeberg. It is the biggest district in Saxony by area, and a member of the Neisse Euroregion. It is bordered to the south by the Czech Republic. Clockwise, it also borders the district of Sächsische Schweiz-Osterzgebirge, the district-free city of Dresden, the district of Meißen, the state of Brandenburg, and the district of Görlitz. Eiersberg
The Eiersberg is a hill in Bavaria, Germany. It is 349 metres high and located in the province of Lower Franconia, near Mittelstreu. On its slopes are the indications of human settlement from the early Ice Age. Geography The mountain is an elongated ridge with a steep slope on the eastern side dropping down to the Streu, a tributary of the Franconian Saale by the village of Mittelstreu. At the foot of the mountain there are several springs with a very high yield that directly feed the Streu. Hill settlement The hill settlement is located on the plateau of the mountain on the eastern slope facing the Streu. A steep valley guards the north side of the site. On the southwestern side, the fortification can still be recognized today from a 130 metre long and up to 2 metre high rampart.
