Kiyomi Katō
(''Citrus unshiu'' × '' sinensis'') is a Japanese, sweet citrus fruit that is a hybrid of a ''Miyagawa Wase'' mikan and an orange. The new breed was the first tangor created in Japan in 1949. It was named Kiyomi after the temple and the lagoon near its experiment station in Shizuoka city and registered as "Tangor Nōrin No.1" in 1979. Kiyomi are sweet. Sugar content is normally 11–12 ° Bx and reaches even 13 °Bx if conditions are met. Citric acid content is around 1%. It has no seeds. The time of ripening is mid to late March. The flavor is similar to that of a ''mikan'', while the aroma is similar to that of an orange. Kiyomi is a monogerm, so it is often used as a parent citrus to create new hybrids such as dekopon. Gwiyomi
"Gwiyomi Song", "Kwiyomi Song" or " Kiyomi Song" (), originally titled "1 + 1 = Gwiyomi" (), is a song recorded by South Korean singer Hari that was released on February 18, 2013. It was inspired by a gesture made by Choi Yujin while popularized by South Korean rapper Jung Ilhoon of boy group BtoB. The gesture is called 'Gwiyomi Player', which was popularized by South Korean variety show ''Weekly Idol'' through a segment called "The Aegyo Battle" (Battle of Cuteness) following Ilhoon's guest appearance on the show in October 2012. ''Citrus unshiu'' is a semi-seedless and easy-peeling citrus species, also known as the satsuma mandarin or Japanese mandarin. During the Edo period of Japan, kishu mikans were more popular because there was a popular superstition that eating ''Citrus unshiu'' without seeds made people prone to infertility. ''Citrus unshiu'' became popular in Japan after modernization started in the Meiji period. It was introduced to the West from the Satsuma region of Japan in 1878. Degrees Brix (symbol °Bx) is a measure of the dissolved solids in a liquid, based on its specific gravity, and is commonly used to measure dissolved sugar content of a solution.
