Kisvárda District
Kisvárda () is a district in northern part of Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County. ''Kisvárda'' is also the name of the town where the district seat is found. The district is located in the Northern Great Plain Statistical Region. This district is a part of Rétköz and Nyírség geographical region. Geography Kisvárda District borders with Záhony District to the north, Vásárosnamény District to the east, Baktalórántháza District to the south, Kemecse District and Ibrány District to the west, Cigánd District ''( Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County)'' to the northwest. The number of the inhabited places in Kisvárda District is 23. Municipalities The district has 3 towns and 20 villages. Districts of Hungary are the second-level divisions of Hungary after counties. They replaced the 175 subregions of Hungary in 2013. There are 174 districts in the 19 counties, and there are 23 districts in Budapest. Districts of the 19 counties are numbered by Arabic numerals and named after the district seat, while districts of Budapest are numbered by Roman numerals and named after the historical towns and neighbourhoods. Nyírtass
Nyírtass, formerly Tass (, ''Tosh''), is a Hungarian village in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county. The village dates back to the 13th century; the name of the river Nyír was added as a prefix in 1908. The town has a rich Jewish history, as it had two famous rabbis living there.
