Billy Kinsley
William Ellis Kinsley (born 28 November 1946) is an English musician who was lead vocalist and bassist with the Merseybeats until 1966 (although he temporarily left the band to form the Kinsleys). The group disbanded in January 1966 to resurface as the Merseys duo. They recorded the McCoys' song " Sorrow" (also covered by David Bowie on his 1973 cover album, ''Pin Ups'') with the band before embarking on a solo career, where he recorded "Bye Bye Baby" (not to be confused with a Four Seasons track of a similar title), a typical Merseybeat tune, followed by the singles "Annabella," and "You Make My Day." Craig Kinsley (born January 19, 1989) is a retired American track and field athlete and 2012 Olympian who competed in the javelin throw, and is now an assistant coach of Brown University track and field. In 2010, he won the javelin at the NCAA Outdoor Championships and was named as an Academic All-American by the USATFCCCA. He also placed third at the US National Championships that year. Jessie Catherine Kinsley (March 26, 1858 – February 10, 1938) was an American folk artist known for braidings — an artistic medium of her own devising which grew out of her interest in colonial-style braided rugs. Kinsley began making braidings at the age of 50, and created many pieces for friends and family. One author described her as having "typified the domestic artist”. Kinsley’s works attracted attention, particularly in the Arts and Crafts world. In 1917-18 alone, her creations were displayed prominently in the annual exhibit of the National Society of Craftsmen (New York), the Craftsmen’s Exhibition of the Carnegie Institute (Pittsburgh), and the Applied Arts Exhibition of the Art Institute of Chicago. Kinsley is a city in and the county seat of Edwards County, Kansas, United States. As of the 2020 census, the population of the city was 1,456. It is located along Highway 50. History The community was originally called Petersburg, and under the latter name laid out in 1873. It was later renamed Peter's City.
